Andamooka Opal Parcel 6 cts

Description

This Andamooka Opal Parcel has a beautiful spectrum of colour. The pieces measure 11 x 9.5 x 2.8 mm, 11.5 x 5 x 3.5 and 8 x 5 x 3 mm. This parcel would make unique rings, necklaces or collector’s pieces. Andamooka Opal’s base rock is limestone, making the opal a similar composition to that of boulder opal; whilst the colour is thin the base rock is strong.

This piece has been semi polished, the face left in a semi natural state with only parts of the face smoothed out to a fine polish to preserve as much colour as possible.
